Dual Certification with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
Businesses certified by the Greater New England Minority Supplier Development Council (“GNEMSDC”) can take advantage of a full cross-certification relationship between GNEMSDC and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. This partnership allows for a faster MBE certification process by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, simply complete one short application and leave the rest to us!
Steps to Apply for Cross-Certification with The Commonwealth of MA:
GNEMSDC certified MBEs seeking SDO certification may apply through the Registration Link which includes entering basic company information and uploading the GNEMSDC certificate and W-9 form and other needed documents for the SDO to complete the certification process.

Important Certification Update – Effective Monday, May 19th, 2025
As of May 19, 2025, the Greater New England Minority Supplier Development Council (GNEMSDC) will no longer process MBE certification or re-certification applications.
All certification related matters – including application submissions, status updates, and renewals are now managed directly by the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC).
